The vision of ICMCS is to be a global player in the development, advancement, dissemination and application of the mathematical and computer sciences in the emerging knowledge societies of the new millennium: an internationally recognized centre of excellence, working in synergy-building partnerships with the private sector, as well as national/international networks, and providing an enabling environment for vibrant needs-driven training, capacity building, research and application-oriented activities in all areas of the mathematical and computer sciences, especially the areas of the Centre’s principal focus.
